Having my professional roots in the analog time, at a certain moment I decided (not being a pro anymore) to buy a Nikon FF body, ...and a second one,.... and 10 lenses or so, ..... and a couple of heavy Series 5 Gitzo tripods, ..... and ....

And then I realised I was leaving my gear home just because it’s too much and too heavy.

I realised as well that the “thrill” of shooting was gone, because the perfect Nikon system was doing too much creative work for me, I started to hate the amazing performing AF system and the plastic made pro-zoom lenses.

What I really wanted was a relatively simple camera of an outstanding built quality and with manual controlls.

After quite some months investigating alternative systems, I came to the conclusion that Leica M is my grale. However, I had to promisse my wife that the sales proceeds of the Nikon gear equals to the new budget.

At the moment I’m selling off my Nikon gear. I’ve only one lens, a tele monster, Nikkor 200-400/4 to go.

I expect the proceeds of the Nikon gear are more or less sufficient to buy an M10 with 35/1.4. Followed later by a 75/90 and a 21. That’s it.
