Has anyone got that little diddy 28mm supercrome (the new one) on there M Camera................If so can you post some pictures of it on the camera and some sample shots with it. I just love the look of that lens and neary bought it for my tL2 but it would then be a 35mm and I don't like shooting 35mm

Neil,

FYI, there is a new-to-be released 18mm pancake lens for the TL2 if that is of interest. (Check out Leica Rumors). Silver or black versions. November 22 release date?

I have just given the TL2 to my wife for the Japan trip and it looks like I aint getting it back so.........we will need to keep quite about that 18mm lens as I need that cash for the new S00X that will be getting launched on the same day as the 18mm tL lens :) :) :)

Hey Neil,

From what I've read, there are "better" 28mm M's available.  Most lean toward the Elmarit 2.8 as the best bang for your $$ at 28mm, then the Summicron.  If you want more of a vintage look as opposed to a sharper rendering with cleaner bokeh, the Summaron maybe what you are after.   The lens does look cool, I was tempted but think I will pass for now.

I basically ... up selling that ... SL when I did as I no longer have anything full frame to screw my Noctilux onto. The 28mm Summercron would have also looked cool on the SL :( :( :( As I mentioned above the TL2 is now with my Old Lady so all my M lenses are in the dry cabinet waiting for what ever comes out next.

Neil...I'm real happy with the M10; the Nocti is a bit top heavy on it, but still easily held in one hand by adding just a thumb grip and a wrist strap.  If you have the VisoFlex for the TL it works on the M10 as an option.  Definitely better than the EVF2 on the M240P, but not the SL.   I'm sold on the M10 being my compact, all around, digital shooter for 28,35,50mm focal lengths;  SL for wider and longer.  Good luck my friend.
