Leica M8 serial number 3200001 stolen

Hi,

 

I found this forum last night after my partner had his Leica M8 serial number 3100001 stolen. I just want to put the word out wherever I can so as many people as possible are aware of this. This is of course a very special camera and we are absolutely gutted.

 

I understand we’ll probably never see this camera again but if anyone comes across this serial number I would be extremely grateful if I could be informed.

My mistake, it was serial number 3200001.

Thanks for the link Rivi... my first M8 was stolen while vacationing year before last; I replaced it with another M8 from the insurance claim. I’ve never heard anything back from the other sources involved with the theft but, with another resource at my disposal, you never know.
