mdemeyer Posted October 24, 2017 Share #1 Posted October 24, 2017 Advertisement (gone after registration) This is the second time this has happened to me. Probably after clearing my cookies (routine PC maintenance) the green bar at the top of the page shows up in Edge and IE. However, although the browser seems to recognize that the "OK, understood" button is a button (the cursor changes to a hand to click it), clicking it does nothing and the bar never goes away. Worse than that, when the bar is displayed every page load takes 20+ seconds, making the site unusable. I can't remember how I got it to go away last time... I thought maybe I clicked somewhere around the button (like there was an offset of some kind), but that doesn't seem to work now. The first time, as soon as I dismissed the bar the pages loaded normally. Any ideas, and don't say, "Use Chrome or Firefox". I'm not going to change browsers for this bug. Yes, I've dumped all my browser cache, etc.
