thighslapper Posted October 20, 2017 Share #2  Posted October 20, 2017 I think we need more information to help ......  If you mean 'can I attach this lens to an SL/TL2?' then theoretically yes ..... if you can find the various (probably 3 - bolex to M39, M39 to M bayonet, M bayonet to SL) adapters. Whether it will work well and be worth the effort - no idea.  If you mean 'can I set the camera to register in the EXIF 16mm' .... not specifically ..... but if the manual lens choice menu is available you can choose a similar focal length lens ..... but you may find it will add lens corrections which are inappropriate. Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...

BernardC Posted October 20, 2017 Share #4 Â Posted October 20, 2017 That lens will not cover the sensor fully. You will see a circular image even in APS-C. That being said, you should be able to extract a useable HD image from the center of a 4k video. Bolex "reflex" (RX) lenses are designed for a viewfinder prism behind the lens, so you may not get the best image quality. A regular 16mm cine lens (for Arri, etc) should be fine, except for the required cropping. Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...
