Einst_Stein Posted October 3, 2017 Share #1 Posted October 3, 2017 Advertisement (gone after registration) To me biilt in flash is meant for fill in light. In this regards Leica T built in flash is far from barely enough. Maybe this is why TL2 simply removed it. It is too late to ask for anything for my T, my only choice is to carry the little Leica mini fladh that came with the old Leica mini pns film camera. Hopefuly Leica will have a better offer in the coming digital CL.
Advertisement Posted October 3, 2017 Posted October 3, 2017 Hi Einst_Stein, Take a look here Leica TL needs more powerful buily in flash. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
Wojtek Posted October 3, 2017 Share #2 Posted October 3, 2017 This is super off the topic, but man the new Profoto A1 looks great. It'd be my flash of choice for TL2
Louis Posted October 4, 2017 Share #3 Posted October 4, 2017 Unfortunately, it is not possible to use any external flash with Visoflex and impossible to shoot with manual lenses without Visoflex. That little and “weak” little flash in T served me much in some situations and the reason why I was not interested in upgrading my T to TL2 was the elimination of flash in TL2 because the new and excellent sensor needed more space to cool. I hope this problem has been resolved for “ Clooney” since it seems it will have an in-camera EVF.
Einst_Stein Posted October 6, 2017 Author Share #4 Posted October 6, 2017 I have the same problem of using both EVF and external flash. I thought about the external slave flash, but I dont like it at all. Not convenient. CL, yeah!
