Can anyone recommend a good place to service my leica in malboune. preferably in the CBD area

Presuming you mean Melbourne, Victoria then I believe Camera Clinic in Collingwood is an authorised repairer that has a relationship with Leica. They can only perform certain maintenance themselves but can facilitate getting it fixed at Wetzlar if necessary.

 

Not too far from the CBD.

Yes Camera Clinic is the place to go. They have a special affinity for Leica too. And you can get a tram easily from the CBD

Just came back from them. Camera Clinic is now trading as "Imaging by Design" at the same location in Collingwood. They are still servicing Leica equipment and the quality of their work is excellent. I thought I add this info to this old thread because Google is now showing Camera Clinic as permanently closed.
