Robert M Poole Posted September 21, 2017 Share #1 Posted September 21, 2017 Advertisement (gone after registration) OK, not quite... I came upon this lovely lady in the Old town of Skiathos, Greece. She was peeping out from around a corner of a church whilst shading herself from the sun. I asked her for a photo, she was over the moon. My wife pointed out that she posed like a much younger woman would. Still young at heart. Portrait by Robert Michael Poole, on Flickr

SilentShutter Posted September 21, 2017 Share #2 Posted September 21, 2017 You made her happy. With a little attention you brought a little more light in her day. We all should do that more often.......

XVarior Posted September 26, 2017 Share #11 Posted September 26, 2017 They always ask me "why you chose us elderly and ugly instead of shooting young beautiful ladies" I tell them because to me, you are beautiful souls... Nice portrait Robert, you made her smile and that's the ultimate reward for both. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

My wife always tuts at me when I stop strangers and ask them for portraits and tuts even more when I take half a dozen images of them. But I find they are nearly always very happy!
