Dr. G Posted September 17, 2017 Share #1 Posted September 17, 2017 Advertisement (gone after registration) I was all set to purchase the RX1R ii today, but I'm beginning to have second thoughts. I shoot a good amount of indoor low light and night scenes. It just seems that the RX1R may be better suited for this, but I can't help think that the superior AF and image stabilization will equal the playing field. Anyone seriously consider the RX1R ii before ultimately getting the Q or does anyone own both cameras? Any help would be appreciated.

I'm part of a VIP group at an event with Eric Ripert, Jose Andres, Rick Bayless, Daniel Boulud, Anthony Bourdain and some other well known chefs. It's the primary reason I'm looking into a new piece of kit. There are obviously a good number of events in dimly lit restaurants as well as night time events with low lighting. The AF on the Mk ii is apparently much better, but still nowhere near the Q.
