Advertisement Posted June 28, 2007 Posted June 28, 2007 Hi lapinfutile, Take a look here What size for sensorswipe and sensorwand?. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
stephengilbert Posted June 28, 2007 Share #2 Posted June 28, 2007 I use Visible Dust 1.3x swabs. They're about 20mm wide.

M8 shutter is way to much lubricated... Frederic, Photographic Solutions Sensor Swab: No. 1 is the correct one for Leica M8 Digi-Pads: swab No. 3 for M8 Don't use Pec Pads on sensors see their website for more info - they are for lenses etc. Final point: for longevity of sensor use Eclipse #2 fluid not #1, as this is methyl alcohol, which will eventually degrade sensor/connections. If you can't get Eclipse #2, pure isopropyl alcohol (>70%) is just as good as long, as it contains nothing other than i.p.a. and pure water. rwfreund Posted June 28, 2007 Share #5 Posted June 28, 2007 91% isopropyl does the job nicely. -bob
