Ernest Posted September 11, 2017 Share #7 Posted September 11, 2017 Advertisement (gone after registration) I'm with gwpics; "Man with a Cane" is the keeper. Is it your favorite, too, since you posted it, first? It has a thread of irony that is always interesting to tease out of street photography. The elderly gentleman, replete with sports jacket, tie, snap brim hat, strolling along with no one else in sight, but in the background, is advertising aimed at a youth market, and then there is that baby carriage. A hint of generations spanned in one shot. Cool. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Ernest Posted September 11, 2017 Share #10 Posted September 11, 2017 Oh, you provocateur! The shadows! Now, you have done it. I have to go back and reread E. H. Gombrich's "Shadows: The Depiction of Cast Shadows in Western Art." Film noir always grabs me, and this shot grabs me.
