Art43 Posted September 1, 2017 Share #1 Posted September 1, 2017 Advertisement (gone after registration) I'm new to Leica cameras. Therefore, my M10 might or might not be working properly. When I first turn my camera on while looking through the RF the frame-lines come on bright and then dim along with the red exp. comp. The frame-lines and exp. are usable, but very weak. Once I go outside into bright light they disappear. No frame-lines or red read out on exp. compensation. Am I doing something wrong or is it my camera? Art43 Posted September 1, 2017 Author Share #3 Posted September 1, 2017 I fixed it!! Only after 3 or 4 re-sets....I lost count. These are now the brightest frame lines (white) & exposure compensation read out (red) that I've seen since the camera arrived. Leica said, my recent firmware upgrade might have had some issues that a reset could fix. I had hoped this reset would work because the thought of my camera on its way to Germany is not something I was wanting to contemplate. That said, I'm still not real easy with it knowing it might happen again. Maybe I need to look into getting an MP....?
