Non-Leica holster for T/TL/TL2?

I think the Leica TL2 and 23mm TL lens is light enough to be carried on a strong leather belt, with no other support. This would be my ideal combination for taking with me for social occasions.

The Leica holster looks like an ideal design as a camera holder, but I wouldn't want the shoulder strap etc.

Does anyone know of a belt-only holster that would fit the TL2 plus small lens? I'm not fussed if it's leather or some other fabric. I know there are various pouches by Lowepro, Tamrac etc that would do, but they add bulk. I'm looking for support rather than a lot of padding.

Of course you can modify the Leica TL2 Holster (cutting the strap and build a loop for the belt attachment).

Maybe this is also an alternative

I use the spider light with my Q and its great. The widow might fit better to the TL2.

I also use http://www.cosyspeed.com sometimes. But this is then a bag again.

Modifying the Leica holster may be the only option, since it's closest to what I want. I'll have a look at one.

You could try something like this too if a clip is of interest?

Otherwise a used Leica T Holster and a trip to a leather maker/boot maker could have it altered and a leather belt loop sewn into it.  Would look cool I think.

I actually have this clip, and use it for my M240 with a 28 or 50 for hiking, clipped to a rucksack shoulder strap. It's on the margin for weight and bulk with the M, but should be fine, on a rucksack strap, with the TL2. I will try it on a belt, but it will carry it with lens down or sideways rather than pointing outwards as with the holster.

As I wrote above, if nothing else is suggested here, I'll look at modifying the Leica holster. At least testing it first with the Capture Pro clip will tell me if it is too heavy for the TL2.
