FlashGordonPhotography Posted August 21, 2017 Share #1 Â Posted August 21, 2017 Advertisement (gone after registration) On my TL2 the image stabilisation options are greyed out, no matter which lens I use. Advertisement Posted August 21, 2017 Posted August 21, 2017 Hi FlashGordonPhotography, Take a look here IS on the TL2. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
tritentrue Posted August 22, 2017 Share #2 Â Posted August 22, 2017 Same here when I mount T lenses. Â It becomes selectable only when I mount the 24-90mm.
Ingo Posted August 22, 2017 Share #3  Posted August 22, 2017 Image stabilization is available if you use the SL 24-90 or 90-280.  What do you mean with 'Same lenses seem fine on the T"?
LocalHero1953 Posted August 22, 2017 Share #4  Posted August 22, 2017 There's no IS in the TL2 itself. Annoyingly, when I added an SL zoom, OIS was switched off by default in the menu, and I didn't realise it until I'd taken a run of shots that needed it. This shot was taken with the TL2 and the 90-280SL, handheld with OIS on. I mean the TL zoom lenses have IS. You can turn this function on or off on the T but not on the TL2.  I'll ring the store and see what they say.  Gordon

Same lenses seem fine on the T.  What am I doing wrong?  Gordon  I also tried all my TL lenses (zooms plus 23mm).  Same thing.  Did you find the feature useful though?  I tried it on the T at the time and didn't think much of it...
