enboe Posted August 19, 2017 Share #1 Posted August 19, 2017 Advertisement (gone after registration) It's been six months since the M10's started to show up, and so far Leica has only released the half-case protectors and the Napa leather soft wrap cases, so I ordered the latest creation from Luigi. Being a past purchaser of two half cases and a full case from the workshop in Italy, I had a pretty good idea what I would receive, but I must say the product is even more refined than prior offerings. It's good to see he's not done innovating. I ordered the aged brown M10 full case with integrated grip and dangling back door, yes you get to tailor the leather color, finish, grip, and back door configuration. The configuration I wanted was already produced, so it was a matter of paying for it and waiting for UPS shipping, only 4 days from Italy to the U.S.A. As this is a brand new product, and there are no pictures on his website yet, I ordered somewhat blindly. The case I received fits the M10 very well, not too loose, not to tight. I chose the dangling back door as it cannot be lost, and secures to the rest of the case at the top with two small but robust snaps. The nose piece can be removed as it attaches into a slot in the bottom and closes with two snaps on the back of the top. All very well thought out. I also ordered the matching deluxe strap, and he made consideration for the leather thickness for the lug protectors so they fit over the case as well. The biggest surprise, however, came when I compared the size to Leica's M240 cases. The case almost exactly matches the standard-nose M240 case in size. This is an improvement over the other Luigi full case I have from many years ago which was quite a bit larger and bulkier. All in all, a form-fitted, high-quality case worthy of an M10. I don't want to make promises, but I will try to add photos to the thread sometime soon. Eric
