The circular one appeals but I note on the Speed Graphic website there is a warning that the locking lever depends on the integrity of a spring and that absolute security cannot be assured as the spring might break! The neatness of these two devices is attractive. Other quick release system seem a little ungainly compared with these (e.g. the Manfrotto versions that I use with my MF cameras).
