nyckylim Posted August 8, 2017 Author Share #2 Posted August 8, 2017 Is this true ? Are they forcing us to upgrade and clear their balance stock of M240?
Chuck Albertson Posted August 8, 2017 Share #3 Posted August 8, 2017 This isn't exactly news (several lengthy threads on this topic), and they aren't trying to clear out stocks of M240/M246 - both cameras remain in production.
pico Posted August 8, 2017 Share #4 Posted August 8, 2017 Is there any room in the Leica proposal to consider trading two M9 cameras toward one M10? Because Leica is not in the used camera market I suspect not.
lucerne Posted August 8, 2017 Share #5 Posted August 8, 2017 Is there any room in the Leica proposal to consider trading two M9 cameras toward one M10? Because Leica is not in the used camera market I suspect not. M10 is not included in the upgrade offer. There are also some inaccuracies in the Leicarumors report. Fully refurbishment of text on the bodies is not free and could require a replacement back. It's about 250 euros.. After August 15th, there will be charges for Sensor replacements. The current offer of free sensor replacement includes cleaning and recovering, but a full CLA is chargeable. The original body covering is no longer available so a substitute is used. If you would like a-la-carte then there is a 100 euro offer if the work is done at the same time as the sensor replacement. You have less than one week left to register for a free repair. Don't miss out!
