Advertisement Posted June 26, 2007 Posted June 26, 2007 Hi bscott, Take a look here creek in Tennessee. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
macos Posted June 26, 2007 Share #2 Posted June 26, 2007 Nice subject, framing and exposure. I like hard contrasts, here together with the white water. Just as suggestion, on my LCD screen it looks a little oversharpened, but imho still a nice pic. BR Marcus
bscott Posted June 26, 2007 Author Share #3 Posted June 26, 2007 Dear Macos, this is a scan to disc from my Velvia slide. The scan was by a local photo store and was uploaded from the disc to our site which may account for the look. Thanks for the suggestion.

Chuckcars Posted June 26, 2007 Share #5 Posted June 26, 2007 Now, this is one great photograph with exactly the right shutter speed IMHO. Am so tired of the water/stream anything with long exposures that makes the water look strange. This one looks like your eye sees it. A little less sharpening and contrast to bring back the detail in the white water. Slightly losing detail in the whites. Again, this is a living room 30" wall hanger. garyp Posted June 27, 2007 Share #6 Posted June 27, 2007 Hi Bill Is this in the Smokies? I'm in agreement with Chuck about the shutter speed, it's just right for a strong current stream like this. Thanks GaryP
