icon80 Posted July 18, 2017 Share #1  Posted July 18, 2017 Advertisement (gone after registration) Have been happily using my Leica T for some years.  1. With the announcement of the TL2, I reviewed my lenses and note that their current versions are indicated as Summicron-TL 23mm ASPH and Vario-Elmar-TL 18-56 ASPH. My lenses do not have the "L" in the suffix at the end of the model number. Is this just "badging", or are there significant differences between the old and new models of the lenses?  2. A check of my current firmware indicates Version 1.5. I can only find firmware available for download for the TL and TL2. Is it OK to update the firmware on my Leica T with the TL version?  Thank you for any advice.  Mark
