strohscw Posted July 4, 2017 Share #1 Posted July 4, 2017 Advertisement (gone after registration) When working with my Zeiss Distagon 35 1.4 I normally use the manual selection of M lenses and choose the summilux 35 to get the lens data into the exif. When I am doing photographing just for fun I like the AutoIso with the 1/2f as min shutter speed but it looks like this does only work with 6 bit lenses. Someone can confirm this? Advertisement Posted July 4, 2017 Posted July 4, 2017 Hi strohscw, Take a look here AutoIso only with 6 bit lenses?. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
cp995 Posted July 4, 2017 Share #2 Posted July 4, 2017 No, AutoISO works with all my lenses, non-coded too!
jaapv Posted July 4, 2017 Share #3 Posted July 4, 2017 If you use 1/2f as speed, and the camera does not know which focal length it is, the system cannot work. The solution is to choose an actual shutterspeed.
willeica Posted July 4, 2017 Share #4 Posted July 4, 2017 If you use 1/2f as speed, and the camera does not know which focal length it is, the system cannot work. The solution is to choose an actual shutterspeed. In addition, for non coded lenses you can choose the focal length from a menu and this overcomes the 1/2f issue. There is no problem whatsoever in using Auto Iso if the camera is set up properly. William
