Firmware Update M10

The M10 handles some SD-Cards.

But no UHS-II at full speed.

That's it?!!

Im not sure what you are asking...but the FW update addresses some compatibility issues with certain SD cards. It would be very difficult to test every single card, but the vast majority of the appropriate cards have been fully tested and work fine.

Regarding UHS-II card...the ones I tested work fine, its just that they offer no benefit in camera as they exceed the speed of the camera. Personally I still use mine as I gain the benefit on the back end copying the files to my computer.

Glad to hear some others had an unnerving moment or two when installing 1.7.4.0. - Mine didn't "take" till the second try, but then all was fine........... And I am hoping that the odd glitch I had noticed with the 32gb card I'm using - such as card not being recognised until I try repeatedly to get it to be - are now going to be things of the past............. Glad to see you on the Forum, Tony. I had not been having problems with Lexar 32GB cards, but then I heard yesterday that the manufacturer is taking them off the market. Such is life. My update went perfectly and the camera will, hopefully, now accept any type of card, thus lessening some of the effects of Lexar's departure.
