Advertisement Posted June 23, 2007 Posted June 23, 2007 Hi neila, Take a look here A Rather Royale Elephant.... I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
elansprint72 Posted June 24, 2007 Share #2 Posted June 24, 2007 Another great use of dof and excellent choice of background. Is this Tom Wheatcroft's Royale, or did they all have elephants?
neila Posted June 24, 2007 Author Share #3 Posted June 24, 2007 I think they had five there. Quite amazing cars........ There was also the Glickenhaus P4/5 which was beautiful along with a new Brit concept the Coventry Climax. Oh, and some rain....!
stuny Posted June 24, 2007 Share #4 Posted June 24, 2007 Neil - This, too, is delightful, and that must have been a world's record for the number of Royales in one place. Lovely little fellow, appealingly framed and nicely isolated by the seldctive focus, as Pete mentions. I hope you don't mind, but I thought he could stand out a bit better with a slight exposure adjustment and a slight increase in sharpness.
neila Posted June 25, 2007 Author Share #5 Posted June 25, 2007 A definite improvement. I tend to use 'levels' in Photoshop - does that give essentially the same result?
stuny Posted June 25, 2007 Share #6 Posted June 25, 2007 Neil - I suspect it does, but I also sharpened just a bit.
