Excellent choice. Is it no. 717? There's a cool thread over att RFF for Millennium owners.

 

The Millennium 50 Summilux is, I believe, the pre-asph model (happy to be corrected) which is a very nice lens. I have it in screw mount and like it a lot.

 

Looking forward to the results.

Yes, it's #717.

I'll check out the thread.

 

You're absolutely right, the Millennium 50 lux is pre-asph.

I've only shot one roll of film with it so far, handles nicely.

Awaiting the results ..

According to your serial number , your lens is manufactured between 2003-2008 :)

I would've thought it was manufactured in 2000. Weren't the 50 Summilux Black Paints and 35 Summicron Black Paints manufactured as part of the Millennium set/edition?
