Advertisement Posted July 5, 2017 Posted July 5, 2017 Hi erl, Take a look here Voigtlander 15mm VM III Super Wide Helliar. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!

otto.f Posted July 5, 2017 Share #23 Posted July 5, 2017 This lens seems to have some quality control issues according to a long thread over at Fred Miranda. Are you sure that he wasn't talking about the E-version and not about the M-version there? He states explicitly that this, his copy of the E-version has issues

erl Posted July 5, 2017 Share #25 Posted July 5, 2017 Do you use an EVF or the Optical Finder from CV? I mostly use the M version, with adapter, on a Sony A7S, therefore EVF. I also use it on my M cameras, including M10, with the Voigtlander optical finer (an old one). I also shoot it without using any viewing device, such as I shoot my GoPro. This works well for spontaneous moments.
g2van Posted July 6, 2017 Share #26 Posted July 6, 2017 Do you guys think that its worth having the 15mm heliar iii alongside a 21mm Color Skopar? I've had the 15mm heliar v2 and then a 21mm. I find 21mm much easier to visualize and shoot and the 15mm much more difficult. The only way is for you to try. Some people won't find it a problem, some might even find it too little a difference. I find the 15mm alot of difference from the 21. So I sold the 15mm and now have just the 21mm Color Skopar. Every shooter is different. Just have to try I suppose. tappan Posted September 29, 2024 Share #28 Posted September 29, 2024 Is it advisable (any reflections?) to use a filter (for protection) with this latest version? Thx, Mark
