microview Posted April 26, 2017 Share #2 Posted April 26, 2017 I'm in a similar position with LR6: stuck on an old version and cannot update without changing Mac OS (which I don't want to do either). Scrapped it and stayed with LR5. Import DNG files from the Q and they first appear as 'boxes' labelled DNG (no preview). But after download they are fine. Jeff S Posted April 26, 2017 Share #3 Posted April 26, 2017 The profile for the M10 emerged with LR 6.8. In your situation, I might consider picking up an older/ refurbished Mac for your photo needs.
