lukeadair Posted April 19, 2017 Share #1 Â Posted April 19, 2017 Advertisement (gone after registration) I am not much for chimping (my everyday camera is the M-D, which as you know has no LCD). However, with the SL, I don't seem to get an image preview after each shot. Originally, the setting was for a 1 second preview, so I assumed I was just not fast enough to notice it -- 73 years old with one decent eye! So I set it to 3 seconds, and still nothing. The images are all fine, they just don't show up in the immediate preview. I am somewhat new to this camera, so maybe I am missing something. I'm shooting RAW+JPG, and firmware is up to date. RoySmith Posted April 19, 2017 Share #2 Â Posted April 19, 2017 Did the Auto-Review get switched off ? 1. In the menu's SETUP section, select Auto Review, and 2. in the sub-menu, the desired duration or Off. Â Roy
LocalHero1953 Posted April 19, 2017 Share #3 Â Posted April 19, 2017 Have you got the rear screen disabled (i.e. is the review being shown in the EVF without you noticing?). Press the button to the left of the joystick to cycle through the options. Â I assume you can review the images manually on the rear screen?
drandel Posted August 20, 2017 Share #4 Â Posted August 20, 2017 I have Auto-Review switched on, but it works only in Live View, i.e., when rear screen is on continuously. Does not display in EVF if rear screen is switched off. Is this a firmware issue? Before release 3 Auto-Review appeared in both the EVF and on the rear screen even when the rear screen was not on in Live View mode.
ramarren Posted August 21, 2017 Share #5  Posted August 21, 2017 Just tested: Auto-Review with fw 3.0 installed operates when the viewfinder mode is either auto-switching or LCD only. It doesn't work when the viewfinder mode is set to EVF only.  I'd call that a bug. While I don't recall how it behaved with fw 2.x (because I never use Auto-Review...), I'm sure it should work regardless of viewfinder mode.

jaapv Posted October 5, 2019 Share #8 Â Posted October 5, 2019 Which means that the SD card is corrupted. Did you use it in a different camera and neglect to format it in your present one?
