Stein K S Posted April 11, 2017 Share #1 Â Posted April 11, 2017 Advertisement (gone after registration) Hi I have a 28 Elmarit asph and a 21 Elmarit asph. And while both are great, I still miss the rendering that I love about most of my other Leica lenses. Â But then a used Elmarit 24mm asph silver (I really like the silver...) comes along and a couple of days ago, I just grab it. Â And wow... what a "creature"! Perfect... no! Really blury/soft corners wide open... yes (even more than my 35 cron IV)! But I am still immediately so overwelmed by the character of this lens both wide open (really dreamy) and at 5,6 (the "smooth sharpness" I really like about Leica lenses). Â I know I wrote in this forum a while ago that I had found my three lens kit... 21, 35 and 75. But it seems that this 24 messes this up... just due to its "drawing"! Â PS: it is also nice that the framelines of my Zeiss 21mm viewfinder more hits the angle of the 24... Â Anyone with similar experiences? Â Regards, Stein
