jto555 Posted April 10, 2017 Share #1 Posted April 10, 2017 Advertisement (gone after registration) On a shoot today my camera fell from my strap, so a drop of nearly 1 meter. A long story but not a camera strap issue. I was on a path beside a lawn and it hit the path! Murphy's Law! A small dent on the top plate curve but the vertical aliment was off. So I was looking at my camera going off to Leica for a long holiday and a bill for a couple of hundred Euro. Ouch! A bit of research on the site - a 2mm Allen key (hex wrench) - Camera left in the sun for 15 min to soften the glue and the Leica dot was off. A millimetre turn anti-clockwise and I was back in business. So thank you again to all who contribute to this site!
