Indeed, and thank you.  But I like the contrast of warm interior colors with cool exterior colors.  I think it is part of the picture's "story."

I agree that it works in B&W, however, you are absolutely correct that the contrast of warm/cool colors does this photo the most justice!

Color version is the one, I prefer! Meanwhile, what is the green cast on her right palm?

Good question Matic, I'm not sure.  I suppose it is probably a side effect of the tone mapping algorithm in Aurora HDR.  There seems to be a sort of red/green split toning effect on her skin in the highlights/shadows.  If I had been paying more attention I would have smoothed it out in Lightroom with a color brush.

 

Come to think of it, I wonder if it is related to the M240's green shadow defect which Leica never saw fit to correct with a firmware update.  :(
