35 lux or cron for SL

On SL the bigger size of Lux might be better. On M, Cron for sure.

I know it is a handling point, not an image point, but I had the same thought. Have tried M lenses on SL and certainly found the summarit too small. Noctilux was a nice size but then the combined weight starts to go against my very reason for wanting an M lens - size of the 24-90.

You are talking about the FLE vs ASPH? 35 Lux or Cron applies to many lenses.

FLE is no-brainer if extra cost is OK. For less than the Cron ASPH you could get the ZM 35/1.4, which is big (not heavy) but fantastic, and easier to shoot than the FLE WO because it has less dips. For bokeh, the CV 35/1.2 is untouchable, but it's big and heavy. On SL you might not care. It's also strong stopped down. Not only is the bokeh good, you can make alot more of it with such speed.

Hi - thanks, I was referring to latest spec lenses (will be buying new) so yes includes the FLE summilux. I have looked at the ZM 35/1.4 and I have to say that the test shots I took were stacked with detail and very sharp. Only handed the CV35/1.2 but great to have your feedback. Will check various weights! Thanks.
