fotografr Posted March 21, 2017 Share #3 Posted March 21, 2017 Hey, you suck. How dare you show your face before your southern neighbors? Actually, you are kind of cute but I'm not crazy about the yellow haze.

jenniferx Posted March 22, 2017 Share #9 Posted March 22, 2017 I had a go Albert, I really hope you don't mind. Welcome, dear visitor! As registered member you'd see an image here… Simply register for free here – We are always happy to welcome new members! To get to this result (because the colour cast went across the subject and background) it was mainly a case of separating the flower from the background in a selection and then bringing the colour balance away from the magenta/orange side of things. And the background tweaked a bit with saturation and lightness (making it darker). It's made some high contrast edges a little halo-ey but that could be prevented by taking a bit more care/time than I did. Apologies in advance if you feel this compromises the original integrity of your picture. And especially so if the colours I've switched about are unfaithful/disagreeable. Technical quality in my example has also been downgraded a fair bit from repeat reworking a jpeg and my resizing attempts because I kept getting a warning it was too large to upload.
