UliWer Posted March 19, 2017 Share #1 Posted March 19, 2017 Advertisement (gone after registration) Stormy rain outside made me try some lenses - and I used a cable release... When I tried to activate the shutter - the release button stuck. I am sure there is no dirt or anything else involved which "glues" the button. Battery removed. When I screw in the cable release I can move the button a little bit, but it will not return in its normal position. Anyone who might know a solution - besides sending the cam to Wetzlar.. FrankSL&M Posted March 19, 2017 Share #2 Posted March 19, 2017 Tape up the cable release with masking tape then use a hair blowdryer to heat the button.
UliWer Posted March 19, 2017 Author Share #3 Posted March 19, 2017 Sorry for my phantasy described above. The button is not stuck! I can half press it and release the shutter - even if the ways it goes for the different functions seem very short. But everything is o.k. Hypersensibility is a bad cause to post in a Forum... chris_tribble Posted March 19, 2017 Share #4 Posted March 19, 2017 You don't have to be paranoid to think they're all out to get you ... Glad the problem is sorted out.
