wparsonsgisnet Posted June 22, 2007 Share #21 Posted June 22, 2007 Advertisement (gone after registration) Thank you Bill, but I did stop this damn firewall and worked for a while without it, but without success. Probably it is the Internet Explorer with some hidden rules? Sorry for this stupid question, but I would really like to try the cornerfix for example with my Zeiss 21 Biogon. Perhaps someone could send me the zip-file via email? (manfred.schmitz@enoteca-freiburg.de). My software-tecnician stays far away in something he called "holiday". Manfred, I will send you an email with the zip file attached. NOTE: I will change the filetype from zip to piz. You will need to change it back before you can unpack the file. gravastar Posted June 22, 2007 Share #23 Posted June 22, 2007 Bill, I sent Manfred the file about 30 mins ago, (manfred.schmitz@enoteca-freiburg.de) so you may want to wait to see if he receives it OK. He may not still be at work, so we might not know until Monday. Bob.

sandymc Posted June 24, 2007 Author Share #27 Posted June 24, 2007 Advertisement (gone after registration) 0.9.0.6 is now available at the usual place. It's a minor upgrade: 1. Options are now sticky between sessions 2. CornerFix's version number now goes into both the DNGs and CPFs (lens profiles) that it writes. If nether of these are useful to you, you can happily stick with 0.9.0.5 - to date there have been no bug reports on 0.9.0.5, so there are no fixes.... martinb Posted June 24, 2007 Share #29 Posted June 24, 2007 Sandy, I asked about a mac version earlier in this thread. Are there any plans for that?
ck1 Posted June 24, 2007 Share #30 Posted June 24, 2007 Sandy, Are you intending a final payware version ? I only ask because, one way or the other, I want to make a financial contribution to this essential software !
sandymc Posted June 24, 2007 Author Share #31 Posted June 24, 2007 Sandy,I asked about a mac version earlier in this thread. Are there any plans for that? Martin, Graham is planning to do a port - I can't speak for him, but I think that he's unlikely to start till the "16-bit" version becomes available, and that is still a minimum of a few weeks away Sandy
sandymc Posted June 24, 2007 Author Share #32 Posted June 24, 2007 Are you intending a final payware version ? No, CornerFix will remain free. The only way that a payware version would even possibly emerge would be if Adobe ever release a way to build plug-ins for LightRoom, and I migrate the functionality of CornerFix to such a plug-in. But there will always be a free (and fully functional) standalone version. Sandy
ck1 Posted June 24, 2007 Share #33 Posted June 24, 2007 Thanks In that case, can you tell me your email address so I can make a paypal "contribution" ?
@bumac Posted June 25, 2007 Share #34 Posted June 25, 2007 Will there be a Mac Version?
gwelland Posted June 25, 2007 Share #35 Posted June 25, 2007 Will there be a Mac Version? As Sandy mentioned, I'm planning on doing a port although I'd prefer to wait until the 16bit DNG code has been done as this part of the project is the most involved rather than the GUI & file handling. Once Sandy's happy with that side of the project I'll put some effort into tackling this. Since I use the Epson R-D1 too I might, and I stress MIGHT, look at seeing about supporting that too. There are less pronounced IR issues but certainly vignetting that might benefit from similar processing. Now if I didn't have the day job ...
woodyspedden Posted June 27, 2007 Share #36 Posted June 27, 2007 Way to go Sandy. Thanks! Sean Hey Sean and Sandy there was some speculation that Gareth would port the software to MAC for those of us who would like to use Cornerfix but are in the MAC environment. Do you guys know if this port has been successful and if so where to get that version of the software? Thanks in advance for your responses Woody Spedden
sean_reid Posted June 27, 2007 Share #37 Posted June 27, 2007 Hi Woody, I don't know but Sandy may. I'm waiting for the Milich CV 12 (version 2) and CV 15 adapters and then I'll be making some profiles for those two lenses that will available for free from the site. Cheers, Sean
sandymc Posted June 27, 2007 Author Share #38 Posted June 27, 2007 Woody, I think that the 16-bit Windows software is about two-three weeks away. After that I think Graham will start the port. BTW, the 16-bit version will probably be RD-1 capable, if you first transform the RD-1 raw file to a DNG Sandy
aj55 Posted July 5, 2007 Share #39 Posted July 5, 2007 Sandy, I would like to thank you for this software!! It puts an end to the frustrating pencil coding - not working - agony. I made 3 profiles for the CV40 1.4, CV 15 and Zeiss 21 and it was very easy indeed! Again, thank you. Arnold
