leicatech Posted March 4, 2017 Share #1 Posted March 4, 2017 Advertisement (gone after registration) I just got an M240 and love it. I don't wear glasses, but I just went for my first eye exam and it turns out I need glasses with just an adjustment to my left eye, leaving my right eye alone. When I look through the RF and see the shutter speed, it's not perfectly clear. I'm thinking it's because of the -0.5 adjustment that's standard on the camera. Should those numbers be crystal clear? Advertisement Posted March 4, 2017 Posted March 4, 2017 Hi leicatech, Take a look here Do I need a diopter?. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
jaapv Posted March 4, 2017 Share #2 Posted March 4, 2017 Please read the FAQ at the top of the forum. If you don't see the frame lines clear your eye needs correction, either by glasses or by a diopter. You can check the diopter you need with the try-out glasses at you optician. The -0.5 value of the system gives the best vision with eyes that are 100%.
sblutter Posted March 4, 2017 Share #3 Posted March 4, 2017 Get a pair of the prescribed glasses and take it from there. I've tried every diopter there is - using my glasses turned out to be best - and I don't have to put them on my head when shooting
