nscali Posted June 19, 2007 Share #1  Posted June 19, 2007 Advertisement (gone after registration) I am thinking of buying an Olympus E-410 4/3 camera as a back up (take anywhere) to my M8. Will the new Leica/Panasonic D lenses work with this camera? As the aperture on the Leica lenses is controlled on the ring I don't quite understand how they can work. I would also be interested to know if, with an adapter, the Leica R lenses can work?  Thanks  Nicky

MJLogan Posted June 19, 2007 Share #2 Â Posted June 19, 2007 The Leica D lenses work with any 4/3 camera. Aperture is controlled on the body, through whatever button or knob usually controls aperture on lenses without an aperture ring.

I've used the 14-50 on my Olympus bodies with no problem whatsoever.
