FrancoisF Posted February 20, 2017 Share #1  Posted February 20, 2017 Advertisement (gone after registration) Kayambe, located in Pichincha province some 70 km (43 mi) northeast of Quito (Ecuador) is one of the places where the famed ecuadorians roses are grown.  This is one photographed with my Nikon D700 with Elmarit R 90mm.  Feel free to comment.  All the best.  Francois   Welcome, dear visitor! war Posted February 20, 2017 Share #5  Posted February 20, 2017 Hi Francois. Very nice B&W image of the single rose with an interesting background. Post some more. We've been having Quito weather here for the last few days, but no flowers to be found yet. Haven't heard any of your final election results yet from yesterday, right now it still looks like a runoff will be necessary. Regards, Wally

Regards, Wally Hi Wally, Thank for your comments on the picture of the rose. The after elction day is very dificult. Both candidates L. Moreno and G. Lasso are claiming their victory. Quito population is unrestfull because they suspect fraud in favour of the actual Government candidate. Final results will be anounced on Friday.  All the best. I am having my afternoon tea with bread from Jürgen!
