In case anyone else is waiting to order a one of Michael's 3D printed brass tab:  my tab ordered from the revived Shapeways arrived the other day.  It fits perfectly on the lens (though I have not yet done the final install and the nut, which needs to be glued into the underside of the tab, is going to be a very tight fit).

Hello

I too have been looking for a replacement tab for my summicron. I will place an order from Shapeways using the file Michael provided.

Are there by chance any instructions for installation? I apologize if I may have missed them earlier in the thread.

Thanks!!

Hi,

I used Michael's instructions/tutorial on RFF and they worked perfectly.   I did have to file the head of the nuts to fit the tab, but other than that it went smoothly.
