Best wide angle for M10

I decided this morning to buy the Elmarit-M 1:2.8 28mm ASPH, as it is in black and my M10 will be black too.

I think this is the compromise I needed to make and to sell the 21mm as too wide for my needs.

Thank you to everyone for the thoughts and the help that has enabled me to make my mind up.

Just a word of warning regarding the handling of the 28mm f2.8 Elmarit, a super sharp lens.

It is also very tiny and can be tricky to mount and dismount due to the limit grip space on the lens. One can be tempted to grab it by the hood to assist, but if you do the front section will, guaranteed, eventually work itself loose and require a repair, so be careful putting it on and removing. Mine is currently with DAG being repaired and I have since read of this from other users of this great lens.

Thanks for that warning! I will take extra care being forewarned!

Haha with that light above I don't need M10 :) Image nearly or totally OOC. Wow look at that color. But it's not always like that LOL

These two above and below, I was shooting WO, probably at the cost of some contrast. Should have stopped down :)

28 I like very much for cars....and trucks :)

Often cars and trucks have stuff close, other vehicles, people etc, which may mar a tighter frame. 28 gives everything a wonderful lean look also. My favorite lens for it's great character on M9 at all apertures. Saab and Yellow truck are at F/2, others at f/4, but it looks really nice at f/8 too, and at f/11 the 28 cron is my strongest lens, still far from flat.

But I've often considered a Elmarit ASPH because of wonderful size, and it seems to perform very well. It should be better on M10 than 240 or M9. I hope you will post up some samples here when you get it and find a nice car :)

I would be more than happy to,  your images look really good, especially the last one of the white truck in that light looks almost surreal. The first one is a great shot too.
