otto.f Posted February 4, 2017 Share #1 Posted February 4, 2017 Advertisement (gone after registration) I have my Lens Detection on AUTO. When I put the CV 15mm latest version on my M10, it reads: Elmarit 2.8/21mm, the lens which in this forum was suggested as the best choice for correcting the CV 15mm. How does my M10 know? BTW: the Italian flag phenomenon is in practical shooting hardly visible, on a testshot of a white surface it is visible but not dramatically
Advertisement Posted February 4, 2017 Posted February 4, 2017 Hi otto.f, Take a look here M10 paranormally gifted? Recognizes CV 15mm without bit-code.... I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
Stef63 Posted February 4, 2017 Share #2 Posted February 4, 2017 I have my Lens Detection on AUTO. When I put the CV 15mm latest version on my M10, it reads: Elmarit 2.8/21mm, the lens which in this forum was suggested as the best choice for correcting the CV 15mm. How does my M10 know? Where do you see this? In the menu Lens Detection? In the Manual M submenu the 21 Elmarit is always the first entry no matter what uncoded lens you mount. Did you check the EXIF data? Is it also there?
Stef63 Posted February 4, 2017 Share #3 Posted February 4, 2017 Did some further testing and I see what you saw. When mounting an uncoded lens the Info screen displays always the 21 Elmarit. Its BUG !

cookedart Posted February 6, 2017 Share #5 Posted February 6, 2017 Did some further testing and I see what you saw. When mounting an uncoded lens the Info screen displays always the 21 Elmarit. Its BUG ! I believe the behaviour is to default on an uncoded lens to the last lens code you have selected.
