enboe Posted January 29, 2017 Share #1 Posted January 29, 2017 Advertisement (gone after registration) Before I plunk down the $545 for the Visoflex 020, may I request insights from any current M10 + Viso 020 owners if the unit rubs against the top plate beyond the hot shoe? This would eventually lead to scratches like were caused by the old MC/MR-2/MR-4 meters of the 1950's and 1960's, albeit much smaller in extent. If the unit has a decent standoff from the top plate, this would be less of a risk. Eric
Advertisement Posted January 29, 2017 Posted January 29, 2017 Hi enboe, Take a look here Anyone seeing Visoflex marks (akin to the old MR meter marks). I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
adan Posted January 29, 2017 Share #2 Posted January 29, 2017 Here's a snap of the Viso 020 on someone's Leica T - seems to show a standoff (gap) of about 1mm or slightly less, from the top plate: http://www.cameraland.co.za/media/catalog/product/cache/1/image/800x/9df78eab33525d08d6e5fb8d27136e95/l/e/leica-visioflex-typ-020-evf-leica-t-5.jpg
Mike51 Posted January 29, 2017 Share #3 Posted January 29, 2017 Just looked at mine.....as the photo suggests, I can confirm there is at least a 1mm gap.
chris_tribble Posted January 29, 2017 Share #4 Posted January 29, 2017 Should be no problem. See the attached images (excuse the scotch tape - it's holding a diopter in place while I wait for the thread adapter!). It's not jewelry after all Welcome, dear visitor!
