I dont know how much you paid for your lens but I feel that it may cost more or equal to what you paid and I would say that perhaps you should look for a replacement lens in used market. Posted January 28, 2017 Share #5 Posted January 28, 2017 The character of the "chips" -if small- may also allow you to simply use a black marker pen on them so that they do not cause reflections but simply disappear from the image-forming light. A matter of experimentation and penny-pinching. I had this on a Canon 50\1,2. Blackening made it behave , but it was inherently soft, so I gave it up. p.
