x
Supurb work Andy!

Unfortunatly my engineers eye is drawn to the curvature of the water horizon, if this could be straightened it would be perfect.

Regards, Stuart

Thanks

The "curvature" is actually perspective, with the screes on the right running towards the head of the lake.

Have a look at what Carsten has done over here, to see some "out there" panoramas... http://www.l-camera-forum.com/leica-forum/leica-m8-forum/27196-36-shot-portrait-panorama.html#post285977

Thank you Andy,

I now have a better understanding after looking at Carsten' post. I have only tried simple two to five image linear stiches with a simple program that I think came with a camera.

Regards, Stuart

  • 1 month later...

Thanks, guys.

I have stood on the top of the one in the middle, but don't think I can get any of my fellow Leicanistas up there this Autumn. :)

Here's the view looking towards the water and the place where the above shot was taken (half way down on the right hand side)

This shot really encompasses "me", and what I love doing. Strolling in the mountains, and taking pictures while I am up there. Is there anything better in life?

looks like we will be going to this neck of the woods next year - my missus thought this must be in the Alps. She still can't believe the scenery on offer in the British Isles. I still can't believe the scenery on our doorstep in Munich.

Nice stitching and nice pictures.
