How to upload images: Prepare the image as follows: 1.   The image should be sRGB and 8-bits 2.   Reduce the size to 2048 pixels on the longest side. (smaller sizes can be set, but are not recommended) 3.   Sharpen properly for screen. 4.   Save as JPG to your desktop, reducing JPG quality to produce 2000 kB (5000 kB for sponsoring members). 5.   In Lightroom these parameters should be set in the Export dialog. 6.   In the Forum posting or editing box, click “choose Fil

And this one Leica 50 (M262 not M10) taken in May – VM above was taken today. The resolution of the VC makes it a stunning bargain relative to the cost of the Leica lens (£699 vs £5985 :( ), whether or not other qualities make it the lesser lens.

I have the VC 40mm and I have to agree that it offers remarkable value for the quality of the image, they are well constructed and have a good neutral tonality. True that at the low-res viewing on the web it's impossible to make a decent comparison but I regularly print to full A2 with VC and Leica lenses and I cannot say that I have noticed any discernible differences. 

I also like the compactness of many of the VC lenses, of which I own seven from 21mm to 75mm. Their size I feel suits my M style of shooting while Leica lenses seem to be getting larger these days by comparison.

Ok...so it's not the Sistine Chapel.  I thought it was kind of cool nevertheless!  M10 and 35 cron and 50 lux.

A tour guide uses a black light in a cave to reveal phosphorescence on the walls. This was super low light, 1/8th of a second at 1.4, 35 FLE, ISO 10,000.
