How to upload images: Prepare the image as follows: 1.   The image should be sRGB and 8-bits 2.   Reduce the size to 2048 pixels on the longest side. (smaller sizes can be set, but are not recommended) 3.   Sharpen properly for screen. 4.   Save as JPG to your desktop, reducing JPG quality to produce 2000 kB (5000 kB for sponsoring members). 5.   In Lightroom these parameters should be set in the Export dialog. 6.   In the Forum posting or editing box, click “choose Fil

Iceland Jokulsarlon glacier & lake. Leica M10 & 35mmF1.4Apsh

The thing I can't really comprehend is that the middle pyramid mountain is 10km away (according to Google Maps) and the ridge from bottom to top is 2km!

On good days, like this, the air is very dry and clear so 10km seems to be about 3km as there is nothing to give any idea of the massive scale.

Voigtlander nokton 50 asph.

This gentleman was before me at the cash dispenser. Seeing my camera on my belly, he asked if I was a photographer, so I asked to take his picture.

I know it's just a banal passport shot, but I am tingling to have had the privilege to capture this amount of kindness and trust. In a bank. With my leica.

This is really an amazing portrait! Especially when you take into consideration that you did not know this gentleman. Really very well done!
