How to upload images: Prepare the image as follows: 1.   The image should be sRGB and 8-bits 2.   Reduce the size to 2048 pixels on the longest side. (smaller sizes can be set, but are not recommended) 3.   Sharpen properly for screen. 4.   Save as JPG to your desktop, reducing JPG quality to produce 2000 kB (5000 kB for sponsoring members). 5.   In Lightroom these parameters should be set in the Export dialog. 6.   In the Forum posting or editing box, click “choose Fil

I havn‘t seen this tree in my hometown until this shot. The common tree in Munich is Acer platanoides. Great colors in autumn, too…

Still playing around in C1 (it's been about 18months since I last used it, usually I end up going back to LR6... but LR6 is getting l-o-n-g in the tooth, so I've taken up the pre-order on C1 v22 and I want to hit the ground running)

I'm kind of a sucker for holiday displays.  I like the night shots with all the lights but doing the processing and getting the color grading and luminosity right is a bit of a challenge.  These are from the Cactus Garden Holiday Display at Ethel M's Chocolate Factory here in the Las Vegas area.  Yes, we decorate cactuses here, and palm trees.  And when the temperature drops into the 60's (F) it feels like winter.
