Roger Pellegrini Posted January 17, 2017 Share #1 Posted January 17, 2017 Advertisement (gone after registration) I recently shot a roll in cold weather and when I went to rewind the film, the rewind knob would not lift. I had to pry it up and then found it very stiff when re-winding. The camera was serviced by Sherry Krauter about two years ago. Any suggestions? Roger Pellegrini Posted January 18, 2017 Author Share #6 Posted January 18, 2017 Did it work normally again once it warmed up? No. Still stiff. It is the MP with the knurled knob rewind post.
michaelwj Posted January 18, 2017 Share #7 Posted January 18, 2017 Advertisement (gone after registration) No. Still stiff. It is the MP with the knurled knob rewind post. Interesting... Could it have been knocked? If it is still stiff then it might not have anything to do with the cold? If it was bent just a tiny bit then it will be stiff. How about with no film in it?
