Marten Root Posted January 16, 2017 Share #1 Posted January 16, 2017 Advertisement (gone after registration) I usually only shoot Photos with my M240 but yesterday I needed to shoot a few minutes of video with my M240 on a tripod and a 35mm lens but the camera stopt filming evry single time after only a few seconds... Made several attempts and checked all possible settings but found no solution. Can someone tell me what I might be doing wrong? Help is really appreciated! Thanx in advance, Marten Root
Advertisement Posted January 16, 2017 Posted January 16, 2017 Hi Marten Root, Take a look here Problem...video movies only seconds long?. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
jmahto Posted January 17, 2017 Share #2 Posted January 17, 2017 I never had that issue that's why I am guessing. Is your LV working fine? your will also try using a different card (maybe a faster write speed).
jayvernl Posted January 17, 2017 Share #3 Posted January 17, 2017 Agreed with the write speed, that could be the main issue. I haven't filmed video with the M240 but I assume a bare minimum of 15MB/s for 1080p.
Marten Root Posted January 18, 2017 Author Share #4 Posted January 18, 2017 Thanks for the replies! I had already tried different cards just to be sure. I normally use the (fastest) 64GB San Disk Extreme Pro card in there anyway... I have tried everything (without any result) for two days everything I could think of and then decided to re-installed the latest firmware 'et violá' all problems have disappeared...? Do'nt ask me why... I'll just take it for granted. Marten
