wlaidlaw Posted June 13, 2017 Share #21 Posted June 13, 2017 Advertisement (gone after registration) They are quite easy to adjust. First set the RF so that it indicates infinity on the adjusting wheel. You undo the locking ring round the screw in the centre of the RF wheel with either a lens spanner or as I did with a pair of circlip pliers. You then make tiny adjustments to the central screw while looking at a very distant object (the edge of the moon or the planets Jupiter or Venus are ideal), so that the two images exacty converge. Then while holding the central screw from moving, tighten the locking ring. You may find you need to ajdust the central screw so that the images do not quite converge but as the screw moves fractionally clockwise as you tighten the locking ring, the images will pull into line. It is a bit trial and error. I have become reasonbly good at it now and have done a few friends' Leica accessory RF's for them. Wilson
