Is anybody planning on using R-lenses on the Leica T/TL?

Now that the R-adapter L is supported by the latest firmware:

Not sure but I guess that was probably already possible through stacked adapters before? Just as it was for the Leica SL before this adapter?

I have couple R lenses, and yes they can be used on the T quite easily with stacked adapters. But, much prefer using M lenses on the T due to weight and size. However, for the price of older R glass, they are as good as M equivalents at a bargain.

This and adding support for OIS with the SL zooms seem to point at a tighter integration with the SL for the future.

 

I wouldn't be surprised if there was a larger mini-SL type of APS-C body in the future.

 

Not saying that that would replace the current TL but perhaps in addition to the TL...?  Just thinking out loud here...

I have a Macro-R 60 and use it with the Novoflex adapter on my T. Works very well.

I have Leica T and some R lenses and Novoflex adapter R lenses to T camera. Just planning to used it.

 

By the way, does  anybody has experience with Leica extender R?

Hi , -could you put an example ? Just thinking about buying one to use a Leica R Macro lens also.
