Guest VVJ Posted December 29, 2016 Share #1 Posted December 29, 2016 Advertisement (gone after registration) Now that the R-adapter L is supported by the latest firmware: http://www.reddotforum.com/content/2016/12/leica-releases-firmware-ver-1-6-for-t-typ-701/ Not sure but I guess that was probably already possible through stacked adapters before? Just as it was for the Leica SL before this adapter?
Advertisement Posted December 29, 2016 Posted December 29, 2016 Hi Guest VVJ, Take a look here Is anybody planning on using R-lenses on the Leica T/TL?. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
Belle123 Posted December 29, 2016 Share #2 Posted December 29, 2016 I have couple R lenses, and yes they can be used on the T quite easily with stacked adapters. But, much prefer using M lenses on the T due to weight and size. However, for the price of older R glass, they are as good as M equivalents at a bargain. Guest VVJ Posted December 30, 2016 Share #3 Posted December 30, 2016 This and adding support for OIS with the SL zooms seem to point at a tighter integration with the SL for the future. I wouldn't be surprised if there was a larger mini-SL type of APS-C body in the future. Not saying that that would replace the current TL but perhaps in addition to the TL...? Just thinking out loud here...
